(See Video) Blessed Virgin Mary Appears In Knock Ireland on 10th June 2017

According to, the footage is emotional and difficult to believe, but it is genuine and verified by the cameras of hundreds of other eyewitnesses. A crowd of people gathered in Knock, Ireland at 3 PM, June 10, saw a promised vision of the Virgin Mary in the sky.

The sun appeared as an elongated shape in the videos, not as a circle. Rays of light were also captured on camera. As clouds passed before the sun, filtering out the brightest light, people were able to look directly at the vision. They reported the vision moved, and spun, a classic miracle of the sun, often associated with apparitions of the Virgin Mary.

The sight alone is moving and astounding. There is no evidence on video that is so clearly genuine or so remarkable. But what makes this apparition even more compelling is that it was predicted by a 14-year-old boy.

The Story of Our Lady of Lourdes

On February 11, 1858 a 14 year-old girl named Bernadette Soubirous witnessed the first of 18 visions of her blessed Virgin Mary at a grotto near Lourdes, France.  The first apparition appeared when Bernadette was gathering wood with her sister and a friend.  Bernadette heard a noise like a gust of wind and looked up toward the grotto.  She described what she saw:  “I saw a lady dressed in white.  She wore a white dress, an equally white veil, a blue belt and a yellow rose on each foot.”

Upon seeing the Lady, who had a Rosary draped over her right arm, Bernadette began praying the Rosary.  When the prayer ended the Lady suddenly vanished.  On a subsequent visit to the grotto, the lady spoke.  Bernadette asked the Lady to write down her name, and the Lady replied:  “It is not necessary,” and then added, “I do not promise to make you happy in this world, but in the next. Would you be kind enough to come here for a fortnight?”  In the weeks that followed, there were several more apparitions of the Lady at the grotto.

I Have Doubts It’s The Blessed Virgin Mary That They See – Pope Francis

While the investigations into the very first alleged apparitions at Medjugorje in must continue, Pope Francis said he has doubts about claims that Mary continues to appear in the village of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Asked May 13 about the authenticity of the Marian apparitions, which reportedly began in 1981, the pope referred to the findings of a commission chaired by Cardinal Camillo Ruini, the retired papal vicar of Rome.

“The report has its doubts, but personally, I am a little worse,” the pope told reporters traveling with him from Fatima, Portugal. “I prefer Our Lady as mother, our mother, and not Our Lady as head of the post office who sends a message at a stated time.”

Is This a Photo of Fatima’s “Miracle of the Sun”? The Truth Behind the Popular Photo

This year is the 100th anniversary of one of the most amazing miracles of the 20th century: the spectacular “Miracle of the Sun” that occurred in front of tens of thousands in Fatima, Portugal.

Three poor children claimed that the Blessed Virgin Mary was appearing to them – and that she would perform a public miracle on October 13th, 1917 in a certain field.
That’s quite the claim, so when the day came the field was filled tens of thousands of people: believers, skeptics, journalists, and even photographers.

And then it happened: the Sun started spinning, then zig-zagging around the sky, and it gave off brilliant colors.
So did anyone get a photograph??

What Are Marian Apparitions, And How Can The Church Decide If They Are True?

Q: What are Marian apparitions, and how can the Church decide if they are true?

A: Marian apparitions are considered to be private revelations according to what is taught in the Catechism. They don’t “improve or complete Christ’s definitive Revelation, but help to live more fully by it in a certain period of history” (No. 67).

Marian apparitions can be investigated and approved by the local bishop, but in some cases, the Holy See takes over the inquiry. In 1978, Paul VI approved a document of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith that lays out norms for discerning apparitions. Among the criteria used are the harmony of the messages with Catholic doctrine, the docility of the visionaries to Church authority and the signs of the supernatural.

Fatima Visionaries, Heaven And The Horrifying Vissions of Hell.

The children were given a horrifying vision, but were also shown a pathway to heaven.

The Catechism affirms the existence of hell, but describes a more severe punishment than being burned for eternity.

The teaching of the Catholic Church affirms the existence of hell and its eternity. Immediately after death the souls of those who die in a state of mortal sin descend into hell, where they suffer the punishments of hell, ‘eternal fire.’ The chief punishment of hell is eternal separation from God, in whom alone man can possess the life and happiness for which he was created and for which he longs (CCC 1035).

This explanation of the Catechism is enough reason to fear hell. We should fear the fact of spending eternity separated from the God who loves us so much.

In 1917, When Our Lady appeared to the three shepherd children at Fatima Portugal, she allowed them to see a vision that would scare any child (or adult). They saw before them a “vast sea of fire” and in it, many souls being tormented. Continue reading

The Angel Of Peace, Fatima – The Third Apparition.

The Third Apparition of the Angel.

Lucia is uncertain when the third apparition of the angel occurred, sometime in late September or in October 1916 is her recollection. Having gone to the Cabeco with their flocks, and being more attentive to the words of the Angel, they immediately knelt down to pray the prayer taught them by the angel: My God, I believe, I adore etc…

“After we had repeated this prayer [I don’t know how many times], we saw shining over us a strange light. We lifted our heads to see what was happening. We saw the Angel with a chalice in his left hand and a Host suspended above it, from which some drops of the Precious Blood fell.  Continue reading

Feast Of Our Lady Of Lourdes – February 11.

Grant us, O merciful God, protection in our weakness, that we, who keep the Memorial of the Immaculate Mother of God, may with the help of her intercession, rise up from our iniquities. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Today marks the first apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1858 to fourteen-year-old Marie Bernade (St. Bernadette) Soubirous. Between February 11 and July 16, 1858, the Blessed Virgin appeared eighteen times, and showed herself to St. Bernadette in the hollow of the rock at Lourdes. On March 25 she said to the little shepherdess who was only fourteen years of age: “I am the Immaculate Conception.” Since then Lourdes has become a place of pilgrimage and many cures and conversions have taken place. The message of Lourdes is a call to personal conversion, prayer, and charity.

Our Lady of Lourdes

The many miracles which have been performed through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin at Lourdes prompted the Church to institute a special commemorative feast, the “Apparition of the Immaculate Virgin Mary.” The Office gives the historical background. Four years after the promulgation of the dogma of the Immaculate Conception (1854), the Blessed Virgin appeared a number of times to a very poor and holy girl named Bernadette. The actual spot was in a grotto on the bank of the Gave River near Lourdes.

The Immaculate Conception had a youthful appearance and was clothed in a pure white gown and mantle, with an azure blue girdle. A golden rose adorned each of her bare feet. On her first apparition, February 11, 1858, the Blessed Virgin bade the girl make the sign of the Cross piously and say the rosary with her. Bernadette saw her take the rosary that was hanging from her arms into her hands. This was repeated in subsequent apparitions.

With childlike simplicity Bernadette once sprinkled holy water on the vision, fearing that it was a deception of the evil spirit; but the Blessed Virgin smiled pleasantly, and her face became even more lovely. The third time Mary appeared she invited the girl to come to the grotto daily for two weeks. Now she frequently spoke to Bernadette. On one occasion she ordered her to tell the ecclesiastical authorities to build a church on the spot and to organize processions. Bernadette also was told to drink and wash at the spring still hidden under the sand.

Finally on the feast of the Annunciation, the beautiful Lady announced her name, “I am the Immaculate Conception.”

The report of cures occurring at the grotto spread quickly and the more it spread, the greater the number of Christians who visited the hallowed place. The publicity given these miraculous events on the one hand and the seeming sincerity and innocence of the girl on the other made it necessary for the bishop of Tarbes to institute a judicial inquiry. Four years later he declared the apparitions to be supernatural and permitted the public veneration of the Immaculate Conception in the grotto. Soon a chapel was erected, and since that time countless pilgrims come every year to Lourdes to fulfill promises or to beg graces.

The Miracle of Ocotlán: Jesus Appeared In Mexico Before Over 2,000 Witnesses

The “Miracle of Ocotlán” is a miracle that many who are no Mexicans have barely heard of. Even in Mexico today there are people who have not heard of the miracle.

This miracle occurred on 3rd October 1847 when a physical perfect image of Jesus Christ crucified appeared in the clouds, the image remained on sight for over 30 minutes.

This miracle took place just before the start of a Sunday Mass at the cemetery of the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception – presided over by the parochial vicar, Father Julián Navarro; when two fair clouds joined together in the northwest sky, where there appeared the image of Christ. The Mysterious Case Of The Marian Apparitions At Lipa

The story of Sister Teresita Castillo and the supposed Marian apparitions of Lipa City, Philippines reads something like a mystery novel.

A negative judgement given in a document signed by local bishops and subsequent suppression of the devotion most likely drove the visionary nun out of the convent.

Years later, some bishops involved in the disapproval of the case allegedly came forward with deathbed confessions, saying they only ruled against the apparitions on threat of excommunication.

A Marian Apparition Approved In Argentina: Of Supernational Origin

What began with glowing rosaries and the rediscovery of a statue of the Virgin Mary in Argentina has now been approved by the local bishop as a series of apparitions that are “of supernational origin” and worthy of belief.

And the designation is deeply significant, recognizing the messages of Our Lady of the Rosary of San Nicolas, which exhort peace and give dire warnings, one miracle researcher says.

Bishop Hector Cardelli of San Nicolas in Argentina’s Buenos Aires province made the announcement May 22 at the conclusion of a Mass during the well-attended pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of San Nicolas.

Jesus Statue Moves It’s Head During Procession(See Video)

The statue of Jesus during a Catholic procession in Mexico moved it’s head, leading many to believe it’s a sign from God.

Some others argued the footage – filmed in Saltillo, north-east Mexico – was a hoax or an optical illusion.

The head of the statue of Christ can be seen lifting up, and its eyes appear to open.

The video was filmed in June last year, but recently went viral after being shared on YouTube.

See the video

Only a very small number of similar occurrences have been accepted by the Catholic Church as valid miracles, with numerous others proven to be hoaxes.

But it has accepted some modern events as miracles, such as the recovery from Parkinson’s Disease of Marie Simon-Pierre, attributed to the late Pope John Paul II.

Claims of miracles that are never confirmed by the Church are common like the man from Jalisco, Mexico, claimed that a statue of the Virgin Mary he kept in his house had been weeping blood for four months.

Ten Amazing Facts About the Miraculous Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe

Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe

In honor of the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, [December 12th] here are ten amazing facts about the image of Our Lady as seen on Saint Juan Diego’s tilma that defy scientific explanation and argue in favor of its miraculous origin and divine provenance. Mary’s message of faith still speaks to us, 485 years later.

Our Lady of Guadalupe first appeared on December 9th, 1531. According to the account, the Virgin Mary told Juan Diego, an Indian convert, to tell Bishop Juan de Zumárraga to build a chapel. Bishop Zumárraga asked Diego for a sign as proof that it was truly the Mother of God. Our Lady instructed Diego to gather some roses in his tilma [popular piety attests that Mary arranged the roses in the tilma herself] and present them to the bishop. As Diego did this, the roses fell to the floor, revealing the miraculous image of Mary as she appeared in real life.
